Eltham Church of England School was founded as a National School in 1813. In 1953 it became a voluntary aided school.

This means that the governors, London Borough of Greenwich, and the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education work together in the running of the School.

We are a primary School for children aged 5-11 years. As a Christian School, we believe that Religious Education plays an important part in the life of the school, and we hope that our daily act of worship reflects this belief. We have a close link with the Saint John the Baptist, our Parish Church, as well as other local churches.
