Art Award

The Eltham Church of England School Art Award is held each year in tribute to Nick McKerney, a long-standing governor of our school, who championed a love and respect for creativity and ‘the Arts’. Various art projects and the children's creative journals were taken into consideration for the judging of the 2025 Award.  The judges looked for a variety of mediums used, the annotated notes and the overall outcomes of each piece in order to choose their finalists, runners-up and overall winners. There were:

  • 2 shortlisted entries per class.
  • Funded prizes for winners, presented in a whole school winners’ assembly!

All shortlisted entries are shown here – congratulations to you all! Prizes for the winners were gifted by Nick McKerney.
